Been away for 2+ years playing another game, subed and training skills but never actually playing.
Now I'm back. Who's the big dog on the block?
Back before I left it was -A-, Goons and NC.
I see NC just got *****slapped by PL and friends. Is PL the new powerhouse now or what?
BTW, It's good to be back. 2 year break from playing after 6+ really freshens the game back up.

Originally by: Christopher AET okay a few months ago the NC made an abortive attempt to take and hold some systems in the russian block space. this outside threat unified the russian alliances and their english speaking friends from same regions into what is known as the DRF. (Drone region forces). They then pushed into NC space and gave PL a hefty payment to help with this. Also NCdot jumped in and attacked nc also. So now NC is broken the remnants are hiding near goons and test as the eastern monster is bashing what remains of the nc sov.
In the south DRF abandoned a bit of space which was quickly snapped up by -A- and the new incarnation of Atlas. It is yet unknown whether the DRF will continue its march straight into goons space or retake its recently reliquished southern regions. Or indeed both!
So with the largest war in a long time raging across the north 0.0 is certainly an interesting place to keep your eyes on.
Winner winner chicken dinner thus far.
So, DRF, PL, -A-, Atlas and Goons are the forces to be reckoned with at least thus far.
Interesting that NC FINALLY got pushed out of the North or in the process of. Besides early BOB holding Fountain and the South, they must be the longest SOV holders of the same region for as far back as I can remember.
Interesting times ahead indeed.

DRF. That means: Solar Wing, Solar Fleet, Red Alliance, White Noise and Raiden.
Nope, none of those alliances played a major role in the invasion of Trib. It was PL first and foremost, then NCdot, Merciless, Evoke/Ewoks, and a handful of others that took down the NC. DRF only paid for the contract with PL, they never did any real fighting.
So I'd say the real big dogs are PL. They could destroy every single alliance in the game if they really wanted to.
And yet they still still stand as Mercs? Guns for hire.
Much the same as the old MC, but better it sounds.
Impressive. Good for PL. They were solid HAC/Logi gangs back in my heyday. Funny to see them transitioning into Supercap *****s but good for them.
Eventually, the more contracts they take, the more people's Cheerio's they **** in, the more they will become targets themselves, regardless of how Politically Neutral they stay.
That; my friends, will be an interesting day.
BTW, wow. You can't say w h o res on the boards anymore? Whew.
